Book Review - THE SHELL COLLECTOR'S DAUGHTER by Beth Wiseman

This was a sweet inspirational romance situated on Mustang Island in the Gulf Coast off Texas, enjoyable and lighthearted.

Carianna is a simple soul--not to be confused with idiocy. No, maybe way innocent, but not stupid. Maybe because she is so trusting and friendly, everyone on Mustang Island and nearby San Jose Island knows her and would have her back if there were ever a problem. At least most of the time.

Dominic is a professional photographer out to take pictures of the best sea shell hunting places. He encounters Carianna on Jan Jose Island and is amazed by her beauty and naivety. She actually believes everyone is good and that she has tea with God every Thursday. Yet he's irresistibly drawn to her, and he comes with her to Mustang Island to meet her dying father.

Carianna's naivety nearly gets her into an ugly place, and Dominic finds himself being her protector. How can he leave her there? Available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

I received a free copy of this from the author in return for an honest review.
